Waste to Wonderment

Show Dates Extended! April 1 – May 28, 2022

“Waste to Wonderment: Creative RE:use in Art,” featuring artists Dee Ruff and TPMcKee, brings together two artists that completely transform discarded material into works of art. These artists focus on environmentally conscious methods to create fine art pieces in a contemporary manner. Despite heavy use of man-made material, such as repurposed polystyrene panels, Ruff’s work expresses an Earthly aura, while TPMcKee uses metal and wood scraps to create whimsical compositions. The transformation from waste to artwork is this exhibition is definitely a cause for wonderment.

This exhibition is set to open April 1 and run through May 28, 2022 (extended), with an opening reception April 1, 6-10pm, and is located in FOUND:RE Contemporary Gallery off Portland Street. You can view this exhibition without appointment Monday through Saturday, 10am – 6pm by stopping at the FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel’s front desk. This exhibition also coincides with the opening of  “UPCYCLE: RE:cycle. RE:purpose. RE:imagined.”

You can RSVP to the opening reception of this exhibition, April 1, 6-10pm, on the FOUND:RE Contemporary Eventbrite.
