FOUND:RE Contemporary and FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel are excited to announce the opening of their newest exhibition, “Purple”. This exhibition cycle will present the work of local artists whose work explores various shades, tones, and textures of purple.
“Purple” is explored through a variety of mediums. This exhibition is the sixth and final in our vibrant series exploring monochromatic works in each color of the rainbow. Each exhibition in this series will explore the beauty and depth of a single color, now featuring the regal and powerful hues of purple. “Purple” features the work of Joan Abraham, Amanda Adkins, Darcy Borg, Jen Bosen, Anne Brownfield Brown, Samantha Burgos, Erik Carrasco, Antoinette Cauley, Jyll Ethier-Mullen, Cyndy Gaughan, david Henderson, Stacy Holmstedt, Carlyssa Hordge, Jon Jeffery, Gayla Kerns, Lisa Martineau, Gail A. McFarland, Ottavia McHenry, Maxine Rose Schierer Meadowcroft, Andrea Pro, Carey Rasmussen, Carmen Ruiz, Lorraine Swartz, Chuck Via, and Jeff Weiss.
The exhibition will be hung in the studio space at FOUND:RE Phoenix and opens to the public on November 21st. The show is open through January 11th, with the opening reception on November 21, from 6-8pm.
The exhibition will be presented as part of FOUND:RE Contemporary’s regular schedule of rotating exhibitions. The works will be for sale in person and at foundrecontemporary.com.
