LIVE PAINTING BY MOHAN TOOPAL
Mohan Toopal is an impressionistic realism painter living in Arizona. His work typically focuses on figures and portraiture playing with light and shadow. Lately, Toopal has started working on cityscapes, exploiting light and creating a dramatic representation. He is able to compose realistic scenes in an impressionistic style that he has successfully employed in other genres.
Mohan Toopal has shown his work throughout the Phoenix art community and has been in multiple shows at FOUND:RE Contemporary, including “XSCAPE: Landscape, Cityscape, and Mindscape”. Toopal will be doing a live painting at the FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel on September 3, 8-10pm, for First Friday.
