Live Art Piece by Keely Finucane
FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel will be hosting a live art piece by Arizona artist Keely Finucane to celebrate the gradual return of First Fridays in Central Phoenix. There, patrons can watch the development of one of Finucane’s paintings from her latest art series, “Honey Girl”, a hyperrealistic portrait done using a technique called underpainting. Guests will also have the chance to talk with the artist as she paints throughout the evening and view some of her finished pieces. You can find Keely Finucane at the FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel August 6 from 7-11pm near the hotel’s front desk. FOUND:RE Contemporary’s recently debuted exhibitions, “XSCAPE: Landscape, Cityscape, and Mindscape” and “Fire/Earth: A Metal and Fiber Landscape Show” will also be available for viewing throughout the ground floor of the hotel.
